About Dr. Sunshine

Dr. Sunshine Chu is the managing optometrist at EyeDoc Sunshine. She earned her optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry, she is board certified by the National Board of Examiners.

Dr. Sunshine was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Stony Brook University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a genetics concentration and a minor in China studies. Fluent in both English, Chinese and also knowledgeable in Spanish, she is able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.

Dr Sunshine is passionate about helping people maintain healthy vision and improve their quality of life.
